The corridor has several photos of ships, including navel vessels, that have visited Victor Harbor. At the far end there are lots of photos of Victor town views including the planting of the pine trees around 1920 as a memorial to the local soldiers who died in World War 1.
Turning right to the shorter corridor, we have copies of the local newspaper from 1973 through to around 2014. Please ask at the front reception if you wish to peruse these volumes.
Check out our meeting room before you exit the front door. Turn left and see the First Public Toilet in Victor Harbor. For some people, the trapdoor will bring back memories of the night cart coming down the lane. When the bucket was swapped over, the man would take the contents on his cart to a special nominated field a mile or two away and dump it. look through the door and see photos of the way it used to be.
